During the 3hr course you will discover:

  • How and where coffee beans are grown;
  • How different regions of the world and altitudes effect flavour;
  • The distinct and the diverse characteristics of single origins;
  • How various roasting styles affect flavour;
  • How coffee beans are graded;
  • Production, screening, processing and roasting methods;
  • What beans and blends complement certain coffee beverages best;
  • How to store roasted coffee properly; and
  • How to package roasted coffee beans for market

You will get up close and personal with a state of the art roasting machine while watching three separate single origin roasts and learning about the different stages and progressions during a roast.
